About the Role:

A well-established and respected law firm is seeking a Municipal & School Associate to join its growing practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with public entities school districts and municipal clients on complex and meaningful legal matters that directly impact communities.

This position is ideal for an attorney with fewer than five years of experience who is looking to build substantive expertise while receiving strong mentorship and structured growth opportunities. Senior-level candidates (5 years of experience) will be considered for a Senior Counsel title with an enhanced compensation structure.

You will gain hands-on experience direct client interaction and meaningful responsibility from day one while being supported by a collaborative and experienced legal team.

Compensation & Bonus Structure:

Associate (Less than 5 Years of Experience)

Base salary: $107500 $115000 depending on experience
Opportunity to earn up to $25000 in objective bonus annually by meeting billable hour and working attorney hour goals
Bonus period runs November 1 through October 31
First-year bonus is prorated based on start date
Additional annual subjective performance bonuses
Annual base compensation increases based on performance and contribution

Senior Counsel (5 Years of Experience)

Higher base salary commensurate with experience
Eligible for up to $25000 objective bonus

Eligible for an enhanced quarterly bonus structure tied to billable hours with earning potential exceeding the Associate objective bonus

Additional subjective bonuses and annual base compensation increases are considered.
