About the role:
We areseekinga dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse (Education) with a passion for clinical teaching and facilitation. Our ideal candidate will have experience in EducationOrthopaedicsUrology and Neurologyto join our Education Team at St Vincents Private Hospital Northside. This is a permanent part-time role of72hours (0.9FTE) per fortnight weekdays.
Reporting to the Education Manager the Clinical Nurse (Education) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for promoting clinical excellence and staff development. This role supports the departments vision of delivering evidence-based care through continuous learning and professional growth by addressing both organisational and learners needs.
You willbe responsible forall aspects of education and training within responsibilities will further include providing excellent person-centred development of staff assessment of clinical skillsassistingwith clinical education events and support other education activities within the hospital in close collaboration with other members of the clinical education team.

Our hospital has 227 beds 9 operating theatres 2 cardiac catheter laboratories a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Day Oncology Unit Breast Health Centre Endoscopy Unit Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency.

Things that work for us:
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
More than 3 years experience in at least one of the specialty areas Orthopaedics; Urology; or Neurology and willingness to upskill in the other areas as required.
Demonstrated clinical leadership abilities and strong communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience in an education or clinical facilitation role is desirable
Cert IV in Training and Assessment (current) is highly desirable
Postgraduate qualification in Education in a healthcare setting or working towards same is highly desirable
