Introduction
Our client a large and well-established national law firm with offices across South Africa is seeking to appoint a Software Trainer & End-User Support professional to join their Cape Town team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT or training professional looking to build a career within the legal technology environment supporting legal professionals through software training user support and system adoption. The role combines hands-on user engagement training delivery and application support making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while developing technical expertise.
Experience within the legal industry or supporting professional services environments will be advantageous although not essential. The firm offers exposure to specialised legal software platforms and a collaborative professional working environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide end-user IT training and software support to staff
- Respond to support requests via email helpdesk system and telephonic queries
- Deliver software training and conduct user skills assessments (MS Office iManage CMS)
- Assist users with MS Office iManage/Worksite and other application queries
- Create maintain and publish system training documentation and user guides
- Support boardroom Microsoft Teams and meeting room technology connections
- Maintain meeting room and connection scheduling calendars
- Ensure compliance with company policies legal regulations and IT standards
- Provide software support and training across Cape Town and Stellenbosch offices
- Occasionally assist national offices and users when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience in software training IT support or end-user support
- Windows 11 knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel essential)
- Experience assisting end users with software training or system support
- Previous MS Office training exposure (Word and Excel)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- iManage / FileSite experience (Advantageous)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (travel between Cape Town & Stellenbosch offices when required)
