Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Saint Paul MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document activity support access control procedures and collaborate with site teams. Bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to a role where people come first.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour
Must be 21 years of age
Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required (Must be a Military Police or Combat Arms MOS)

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings yards substations and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access theft and/or damage.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization control vehicle entry and coordinate with site contacts regarding deliveries contractors and work permits.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional resources and/or public responders when needed.
- Complete detailed patrol logs incident reports and shift documentation and follow Allied Universal and site requirements for firearms handling licensing and post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
