Life Signs is looking for a Nutritional Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Remotely. This full-time remote position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the Hospital/Health Care industry by providing essential nutritional guidance and support to our clients.
As a Nutritional Support Coordinator you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans that cater to the unique needs of our patients. Youll work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional support contributing to improved patient outcomes and overall health.
We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $26.00 - $38.00 along with a supportive work environment that prioritizes professional development and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients
- Assess and monitor patients nutritional needs and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Provide nutritional education and resources to patients and families
- Stay informed on current research and best practices in nutrition
- Conduct workshops and seminars to promote nutrition awareness
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nutritional care
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Nutrition Dietetics or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in nutritional support or related healthcare roles
- Strong knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutritional principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is preferred
