What is the role that we need
A Corporate Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and producing accurate financial statements that management relies on for decision-making. They act as a bridge between daily financial operations and executive-level strategy by translating complex financial data into meaningful insights.
Their work directly impacts budgeting decisions profitability analysis risk management compliance and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing expenses and vendor payables. Enter and process vendor invoices
- Assist with employee expense report review and payments
- Maintain documentation for corporate credit card transactions and perform credit card reconciliations Record journal entries
- Prepare monthly/quarterly internal reporting and external filings
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Help create a well-documented processes and procedures manual
- Assist with periodic tax filings including year-end K-1s/returns 1099 filings etc.
- Maintain internal cash reconciliation and support payment review cash controls and cash forecasting Assist with quarterly reporting for GP entities
- Identify areas for process improvements and establish efficiencies and enhanced reporting/analytics Ad-hoc analyses on financial and operational results supporting the team with any special projects.
Requirements
Essential (MUST HAVE)
- Bachelors/College Degree in Accounting
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- Candidate must have applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting
- procedures related to bookkeeping and accounting for operating companies
- Have 1-3 years of experience
- Has experience using Netsuite
- Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Able to meet challenging client requirements and provide services while possessing strong communication interpersonal analytical and research abilities
Required Skills:
The candidate should have an understanding of general accounting principles including financial statements Knowledge of financial covenants and bank reconciliation Excellent English oral and written communication skills Keen attention to details Computer and internet proficient Can work with minimal supervision and can deliver high-quality output Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively Must be proactive motivated detail-oriented a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics Education and Experience: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Financial Management Economics Accounting or other related business course Can be a fresh graduate or with 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance industry
