Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Castle Rock CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine foot and vehicle rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties by conducting regular and random patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification monitoring visitor traffic and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
- Maintain a ready professional armed presence by following Allied Universal post orders completing required reports and logs and performing weapon and equipment checks in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 Years Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- A Valid Firearms Permit is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
