Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control in Plant City FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas stay visible and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution and logistics location.
- Control access at employee visitor and vendor entry points by checking identification issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing traffic to authorized areas.
- Support truck and delivery access control by verifying appointments and documentation checking inbound and outbound vehicle information and communicating with site contacts regarding gate activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner completing timely notifications reports and documentation per site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances loading areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 years of security experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
