What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses yards loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and truck and/or trailer traffic by observing arrivals and departures assisting with visitor and driver check-in as directed and reporting irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed and completing required documentation.
• Perform routine security-related inspections such as checking gates doors lights and alarm indicators where applicable and communicating maintenance or operational concerns through the designated reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
