Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover in Tullahoma TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will complete routine rounds remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance with calm clear communication. You will support patients visitors and staff with customer-focused service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support and timely communication with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas assist with visitor wayfinding and help manage access according to location procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents observations and patrol activity and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
