Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Rounds in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Learn more: As an armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and calm professionalism. You will document activity assist with access control and incident response and deliver customer-focused service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and retail guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail store parking areas loading areas and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including completing required notifications and incident documentation.
- Help to deter theft trespassing and/or disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence monitoring activity and addressing concerns according to site procedures.
- Control access as required by post orders including screening deliveries and vendors monitoring secured areas and coordinating with store management and/or local law enforcement when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or have 5 years armed security-related experience.
- Have Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
