Job Summary

  1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Identify qualify and close opportunities in consulting ISO implementation training and advisory services.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline across Anglophone and Francophone markets.
  • Achieve monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  1. Market Expansion & Territory Management
  • Execute Procept Africas regional expansion roadmap and market-entry strategies.
  • Develop in-country approaches tailored to banking government telecom fintech and donor-funded sectors.
  • Establish a presence in both mature and emerging markets through direct engagement and strategic partners.
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with central banks government ministries regulators financial institutions telecom operators and large corporates.
  • Conduct executive briefings presentations and stakeholder engagements.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  1. Proposal Bidding & Contracting
  • Lead RFP/RFQ responses proposal development and bid submissions.
  • Structure commercial offers and negotiate contracts to closure.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure scope alignment and smooth handover.
  1. Partnership & Ecosystem Development
  • Identify and onboard local partners resellers and delivery collaborators in Francophone and Anglophone markets.
  • Maintain relationships with training bodies certification partners donor programs and industry associations.
  • Enable partners to generate and support pipeline opportunities.
  1. Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
  • Track regulatory developments cybersecurity mandates banking reforms digital transformation initiatives and donor-funded opportunities.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and market gaps.
  • Provide senior leadership with strategic insights and recommendations for service positioning.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management IT or a related field; a Masters degree (MBA/MSc) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in business development consulting sales or professional services across West Africa.
  • Proven track record in selling consulting advisory ISO or training services.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in financial institutions central banks government ministries telecoms and large corporates.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards IT governance ITSM cybersecurity and transformation services.
  • Previous experience in management consulting risk advisory digital transformation or capability development (advantageous).
  • Ability to operate effectively across Anglophone and Francophone markets; French proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong proposal development presentation communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently across West Africa and manage multi-country engagements.
  • High degree of independence initiative and ability to manage long and complex sales cycles.
