Scope


The Business Development Officer will undertake various business development marketing & sales activities to generate leads and drive business growth.


Responsibilities


  • Generate leads for new business opportunities and schedule meetings.
  • Liaise with the Business Development Consultant and Managing Director to close deals and attend meetings where necessary.
  • Prepare weekly briefings on prospects and leads highlighting progress and next steps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through phone email and in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Provide accurate and prompt responses to potential clients inquiries about company services.
  • Research diverse industries to identify new lead opportunities and stay updated on market trends.
  • Participate in company training and stay updated on services.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree or HND in Marketing / Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of market research lead generation and sales support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
