As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds in Salt Lake City UT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will complete routine rounds stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients contractors and/or visitors by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and/or perimeter points; observe and report unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns that may impact operations.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials monitoring entry and exit points directing visitors to proper check-in and supporting visitor management and badge compliance per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms suspicious activity medical events and/or other site disruptions and notify appropriate contacts as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs including patrol activity incident documentation and communication with site stakeholders and/or emergency responders in accordance with policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
