Job Description
As a Security Officer - Rover in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies offices ATM and/or night depository areas parking areas and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and interior areas verify authorization where required and direct visitors to appropriate check-in and/or service areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with medical calls disturbances and/or alarms and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.
- Complete routine reports and logs document incidents and observations and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement/military/security-related experience OR a college degree.
- The client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
