As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Shepherdsville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors document observations and communicate clearly with site contacts. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas lobbies parking locations loading areas and the perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management by checking identification issuing temporary credentials and maintaining logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including completing incident reports and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity security-related hazards and/or policy violations and assist with basic access control and traffic direction when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
