As a Security Officer - Marina Patrol in Melville NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization for employees contractors and visitors and document entries deliveries and departures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications assisting with evacuations as directed and completing detailed incident reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns using surveillance systems radios and alarms as assigned and communicate clearly with site contacts and local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
