Youll be at the heart of the community providing education and regulatory services in areas such as:
Dog control and animal management
Parking and unlawful camping
Littering and vehicles on beaches
Straying stock overgrown properties abandoned vehicles and impounding

You thrive in a fast-paced hands-on environment and are ready to take on responsibility with confidence. Youll have:
Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) and/or Rangers 1 & 2 or a willingness to obtain these qualifications
Experience in local government regulatory services and a sound understanding of relevant legislation (highly desirable)
Strong written and verbal communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
The ability to work autonomously while being a supportive team player

Exposure to a variety of duties and responsibilities

Please note: Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol testing sight and hearing assessment functional testing and a general medical review.

Salary:Salary range circa $74700 - $82000 p.a. plus superannuation.
A to and from use vehicle is available and will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Location:This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure:Permanent Full Time. 38 hours per week on a 7-day rotating roster.
