- Working days betweenMonday and Friday
- Based at ourMarrickville Prestige Packaging site
- Attractive hourly ratesequivalent to SES Grade 3$26.37/hr plus 25% casual loading!
About the Opportunity
A General Hand with Flourish Australias Community Businesses is required to work alongside supported employees and to act as a role model for people with diverse levels of skills and expertise. To achieve this you will be required to ensure that efficient and quality work is carried out whilst also ensuring supported employee and business service satisfaction.
This is a hands-on and diverse role requiring you to complete a variety of work in areas relating to warehousing grounds maintenance general labouring and courier services.

- Support:To increase awareness of mental health issues and to develop partnerships to supportFlourish Australias Community Businesses ventures in regional communities.
Please note - Successful candidates must maintain a Class C drivers license and proof of comprehensive insurance must be provided when required. You may be directed to use your private motor vehicle in the course of performing your duties when anorganisational pool motor vehicle is unavailable. You will receive the Travelling Transport and Fares Allowance when using your private vehicle for work related purposes.
Selection Criteria
- Ability to work empathetically with persons with a mental health issue or psychosocial disability.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and assist team members.
- Current NSW drivers licence.
Desirable:
- A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
