Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Multi-Property Rover in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control observe and report unusual activity and provide standout customer service and clear communication to tenants visitors and staff. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants guests and property staff by following post orders site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including common areas entrances loading docks and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials when applicable assist with visitor directions and document access activity per site procedures.
- Complete routine reports incident documentation and shift logs and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
