Job Summary
Senior Design Architect - Multi-Residential & Community Projects
Location: Manly (Flexible WFH Available)
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $125000 Superannuation

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true design leadership role at a purpose driven architectural practice known for delivering thoughtful human centred social infrastructure. The studio has built a strong reputation for reimagining multi-residential health and community environments replacing institutional design with architecture that promotes dignity wellbeing and recovery.
Based in an inspiring Manly studio overlooking Sydney Harbour you will lead the design vision for major projects from concept through to presentation working closely with senior leadership to shape strategy mentor emerging designers and represent the practice to clients and stakeholders. With flexible working arrangements available this role offers both meaningful work and lifestyle balance.

What Youll Be Doing
Leading concept design for complex multi residential and community projects
Developing compelling design narratives from brief through presentation
Collaborating closely with the Design Director and senior leadership
Mentoring and guiding a talented team of architects and graduates
Producing sketches diagrams and visual material to communicate ideas
Presenting confidently to clients stakeholders and planning authorities
Shaping design strategy and maintaining design quality across projects
What Youll Need
Design Expertise: Strong concept design capability particularly in multi residential projects
Communication: Excellent freehand sketching and or SketchUp skills
Leadership: Proven ability to guide teams and influence design outcomes
Presentation: Confident communicator with clients and approval bodies
Mindset: Collaborative positive and aligned with a supportive studio culture
Passion: Genuine interest in architecture that improves lives and communities
