Job Summary
Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Geelong VIC

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design develop and manage scalable data solutions that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture data modelling and cloud-based platforms with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement enterprise data architecture frameworks and strategies
Develop and maintain data models (conceptual logical and physical)
Build and optimize data pipelines data lakes and data warehouses
Ensure data governance data quality and security standards are met
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements
Support data migration and transformation initiatives
Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies and tools
Required Skills & Experience:
5 years of experience in data architecture or related roles
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or similar languages
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration
Knowledge of data warehousing data lakes and big data technologies
Strong understanding of data governance and data security practices
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale data transformation or migration projects
Exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks or similar
Relevant certifications in cloud or data technologies
Eligibility:
Candidates must have valid work rights in Australia or be planning relocation
Location Requirement:
Geelong VIC (Onsite/Hybrid based on business needs)
