People Partner

Position Summary

In this role you will play a critical role in supporting business leaders managers and employees by providing strategic and operational people guidance. This role partners closely with leadership to drive workforce readiness employee experience organizational effectiveness talent development and culture initiatives.
You will support business priorities by advising on people strategies coaching managers addressing employee matters and ensuring successful implementation of HR process/programs. People Partner is a trusted consultant who understands business challenges and translates them into effective people solutions aligned with KBRs culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and support organizational planning.
  • Identify skill gaps and collaborate with L&D on targeted development programs.
  • Support succession planning and development of highpotential talent.
  • Provide timely HR guidance to managers on people performance and policy matters.
  • Conduct regular checkins with leaders to share insights and understand team priorities.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal HR policies.
  • Support managers with performance discussions coaching and career development.
  • Guide teams through change to maintain engagement and productivity.
  • Partner with PARC TA L&D and Rewards to deliver hiring development and compensation processes.
  • Champion culture wellbeing inclusion and engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and help maintain a positive work environment.
  • Use HR data to identify trends manage Workday processes and support global HR programs.

Qualifications including Required Education Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent HR advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of India employment laws including Karnataka Shops & Establishments POSH and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent coaching consulting and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Workday preferred) and MS Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • HR Business Partner certification.
  • Experience in organizational development change management or leadership coaching.
