Were looking for a skilled Product Compliance Specialist to join our Corporate Governance team at the Store Support Centre. This is a highly handson detailoriented role responsible for ensuring our products meet all relevant regulatory safety and quality standards - protecting our customers our brand and our business.

If you bring expertise in product compliance thrive in fastmoving environments and know how to work directly with suppliers to ensure every item meets its regulatory requirements this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at national scale.

What youll be doing

  • Reviewing products packaging and documentation to ensure they meet all relevant regulatory safety and quality standards.
  • Reviewing test reports and certifications to assess compliance against mandatory requirements (including ACL AS/NZS ISO).
  • Maintaining accurate compliance and technical documentation across large volumes of products.
  • Liaising directly with suppliers to request information guide them through compliance requirements and resolve issues.
  • Conducting product safety and compliance investigations in response to potential customer complaints injuries incidents or regulatory enquiries.
  • Recommending corrective and preventative actions to the Quality & Product Compliance Manager.
  • Providing technical advice and compliance guidance to Buyers Planning and Merchandise teams.
  • Supporting training initiatives that uplift internal understanding of product safety and compliance requirements.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement documentation management and the broader quality management system.

What youll bring

  • Deep product compliance expertise- strong practical experience ensuring products meet Australian regulatory safety and quality standards.
  • Handson experience reviewing technical documents- test reports certifications and specifications across highvolume product ranges.
  • Proven capability working directly with suppliers and factoriesto drive compliance outcomes and resolve issues quickly.
  • Strong understanding of categoryspecific regulations across hardgoods general merchandise or food.
  • Confidence managing investigations into product complaints safety incidents or regulatory enquiries.
  • A proactive working style- someone who takes ownership identifies risks early and navigates ambiguity with initiative.
  • Comfort in fastmoving highSKU environments where pace accuracy and clear communication matter.
