Job Summary
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Northampton is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join its thriving Art & Design Department. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to nurturing creativity and artistic expression in young people.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on experience).
Inspire creativity while developing students technical skills and critical understanding of art.
Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level assessments where applicable.
Assess monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
Support extracurricular activities such as art clubs competitions and exhibitions.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic media and techniques.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
