About the Role
As Teacher of Art & Design you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and the schools curriculum offer.
You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Strong drawing and observational skills alongside creative experimentation
Knowledge of artists movements and contextual understanding
Confidence with a range of media (e.g. painting printmaking sculpture mixed media digital where applicable)
Independent thinking through purposeful sketchbook work annotation and evaluation
GCSE success through clear modelling structured practice and targeted feedback
Lessons are designed to build skill over time while encouraging pupils to take creative risks and develop personal responses.
