Position Title: Registered Nurse ICU (Local/Travel)
Location: Saratoga Springs NY 12866
Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Schedule:

• Night Shift 3x12 Hours (07:00 PM 07:30 AM)
• Every Other Weekend Required
• Weekly Hours: 36

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills the ability to manage complex patient conditions and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs cardiac rhythms and patient responses to treatment
• Administer medications IV therapy and blood products
• Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support systems
• Perform central line and PICC line care
• Implement and monitor IV insulin protocols
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response/code teams
• Accurately document patient care in EMR systems
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Ability to pass EKG/telemetry competency exam

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Required at submission)
• BLS (AHA) Required
• ACLS (AHA) Required
• NIHSS Required
