Overview:
An IT Coordinator must be knowledgeable in software hardware and networking. They must be critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail. Since end user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role excellent communication and people skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in the daily operational activities that impact important components/processes of the IT work function
- Acts as a liaison between Housing Works Xerox/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies) and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure with weekly/monthly meetings.
- Assist and support team members in completing IT projects including but not limited to:
- Coordinating and scheduling execution of projects
- Reviewing assessing and evaluating the execution of projects regularly
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues arising in projects
- Responsible for maintaining IT compliance and conducting audits.
- Responsible for the support of our cell phone management Office Phones Desktops general IT equipment and inventory systems.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance and audits which include e-waste inventory secure print for the agency.
- Supports and maintain server rooms and needs at all sites.
- Responsible for technical documentation assessing resolving and/or escalating issues as appropriate.
- Providing technical support or training for systems and networks
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and exercise good judgment as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal day-to-day supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional computer software skills including MS Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and working familiarity with Salesforce or similar
- Familiarity with Cloud and MDM solutions
- Ability to travel to appointments meetings conferences etc.
