Principal Business Development Specialist for Quantum Technologies, Worldwide Go-To-Market team for Amazon Braket

Do you have deep expertise in quantum computing and a passion for helping customers unlock value in an emerging technology In this role you will work with a wide range of AWS customers including researchers start-ups and enterprises to help them explore quantum computing through the Amazon Braket service. You will leverage your deep technical and business expertise scaling your knowledge across the AWS field teams and consolidating customer feedback to inform product development.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for quantum computing collaborating with teams in the field including Sales Partners Marketing and other Specialists.
- Leverage your deep expertise in quantum computing to understand the most important customer problems and enable account aligned teams in the field to solve them.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts develop scalable programs to drive adoption and identify new opportunities within your domain.
- Develop and execute goals to drive long term growth in your geography while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPIs.
- Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to ensure we are prioritizing the building of the right features and services for our customers.
- Delivering monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective tech domain and geography.
- Drive geographical scale through external partners; Partner with cross functional teams across Solution Architecture Business Development Marketing AWS Partners and Training and execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.


A day in the life
In this role you will work with our most advanced and innovative customers who are adopting quantum computing in the cloud. Customers include some of the worlds leading research institutions start-ups and enterprises and you will help them access the resources advice and mechanisms across AWS as we transition quantum computing to full-scale commercial adoption. You will work directly with the AWS services teams our partners customers and research and other institutes to make sure AWS is the best place to run quantum computing workloads.

About the team
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy recruiting development and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

- 5 years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including but not limited to: Accelerated Compute High Performance Compute Visual/Spatial Compute and/or IoT. experience
- 5 years of Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting experience
- 5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Expertise or relevant experience working in the field of quantum computing quantum communications or quantum networking

- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- Experience building and executing strategies to win government business and research grants in a deep technology field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
