Job Description Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for organizing documenting and managing all aspects of the lifecycle of projects. They must be able to evaluate business processes and system requirements to develop business needs assessments (BNA) for projects. Develop maintain and track project plans critical milestones risk analysis determine resource needs and lead project teams. They will manage stakeholder expectations project scope budget and timelines. Facilitate resolution of project conflicts through effective communication and mentor staff as to be effective project team members. The PM will report progress against milestones and present project risks solutions issues and key decisions to leadership.
Job Description:
- Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle. Develop maintain and track project plan and critical milestones
- Manages communications within the project team and facilitate resolution of project conflicts
- Works with all stakeholders involved with each specific project build the BNA and manage stakeholder expectations and project scope
- Assists customers/stakeholders in determining the project scope facilitate change management and go-live activities
- Supports integrated testing timeline and coordinate testing activities
- Monitors and report progress against milestones identification and tracking of issues and risks to resolution as related to the project plan using a project management system
- Develops standards for systems analysis design construction and documentation; and provide quality review/control over total project
Develops proposes and manages project budget
Additional Job Description:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Business Nursing or a related field of study (required)
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience managing projects a successful history of working with stakeholders from various backgrounds building project plans and understanding of the project lifecycle and the use of MS Project (required)
