As a key member of our Ob/Gyn department you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our patients focusing on both obstetric and gynecological services. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare and fostering a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct regular check-ups screenings and preventive care
- Perform surgeries and medical procedures as required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients on health issues and treatment options
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Experience in a medical practice setting is preferred
Schedule: 8-hour shifts 4 days per week
Call: Typically 1:5 supported by laborists
Clinic and hospital coverage
Clinic Census: 15 per day
Delivery Volume: 40-50 per month shared among physicians
General OB/GYN caseload
Current Team: 5 fulltime OB physicians 4 NPs
Must be board-certified
Compensation & Perks:
$300k base salary and collection-based productivity bonus
6 weeks of PTO
