Job Summary

As a Technical Project Manager/Delivery Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of complex technical projects and product development initiatives within a critical E-Commerce program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time within scope and meet the highest quality standards for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of technical projects and product development initiatives.
  • Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive decision-making and resolve project issues.
  • Manage changes to project scope schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define product vision strategy and roadmap.
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements working closely with engineering sales and marketing to deliver successful products.
  • Define product specifications and create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to projects and products.
  • Write documentation from SOWs to RCAs.
  • Release management for the various iterations.
  • Report and escalate to Programme Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum Waterfall Hybrid) and tools (e.g. Jira Trello MS Project).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools (Bamboo / Jenkins or similar Grafana / OpenSearch or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience in product management including product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • PMP PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong experience with software development and/or technical architecture.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO Analytics Performance and Accessibility principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure and Security principles and best practices.
  • E-Commerce experience.
  • Rollout experience.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
