Role Purpose :

The purpose of this position is to support the development and execution of social takaful and strategic partnership initiatives by assisting in partnership coordination project implementation stakeholder engagement and basic analysis to advance Prudential BSN Takafuls social finance and inclusive takaful agenda.


This role contributes by providing operational coordination and analytical support to ensure timely delivery of programs aligned with Social Takaful & CSR objectives.

Organization Context:

This position sits within the Social Takaful & CSR Department and works closely with internal stakeholders across Marketing Product Shariah Risk Finance and Operations as well as external partners including government agencies financial institutions NGOs foundations and social finance ecosystem players.

This role supports the Manager Strategy & Growth Partnership in driving partnership execution programme coordination and reporting contributing to the organisations broader Value-Based Intermediation of Takaful (VBIT) financial inclusion and ESG commitments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Partnership Support

  • Assist in identifying coordinating and supporting strategic partnerships with government agencies financial institutions NGOs foundations and social finance organizations.
  • Support preparation of partnership proposals concept notes presentation decks and basic analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain partner engagement records meeting minutes and follow-up actions.

Program & Project Execution

  • Support execution of social takaful CSR and community-based programs including coordination of timelines documentation and reporting.
  • Assist in monitoring program progress milestones and deliverables.
  • Support simple impact tracking and data consolidation for reporting purposes.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate meetings site visits engagement sessions and events with partners and community stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison support between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth communication and execution.

Content Tools & Digital Support

  • Support preparation of basic visual materials reports and presentations using tools such as Canva and AI-assisted applications.
  • Assist in documentation communication materials and internal updates related to social takaful and CSR initiatives.

Governance & Compliance Support

  • Ensure documentation records and activities are aligned with internal policies Shariah requirements and regulatory expectations.
  • Support audit governance and reporting requirements where required.
  • Other related matters that may be deemed necessary.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

  • Exposure or interest in social finance social takaful ESG or community development is an advantage.
  • Strong interest and ability to work with NGOs foundations government agencies zakat and waqf institutions.
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools Canva and digital productivity applications.
  • Basic understanding of Islamic finance takaful and Shariah principles is an added advantage.
  • Proactive self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys meeting and engaging with people.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Takaful Business Administration Economics Finance Islamic Finance Social Sciences Public Policy Development Studies Communications Shariah or related fields.
  • Experience: 23 years of working experience preferably in:
  • CSR sustainability ESG or community programs
  • Social finance microfinance or takaful/insurance environment
  • NGO foundation government agency or partnership-based roles

Fresh graduates with strong internship/protege exposure in relevant fields may be considered.
