Job Summary
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Group is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible MD/DO General Surgeon to join its collaborative surgical team in Brattleboro Vermont providing comprehensive inpatient outpatient emergency and wound care services in a supportive community hospital Description:The General Surgeon will:Provide comprehensive surgical care across inpatient outpatient and emergency department settingsPerform common general surgical procedures including: of small bowel and soft tissue surgical proceduresDeliver evaluation and management of acute and chronic wounds within the multidisciplinary Wound Clinic modelProvide expert diagnosis treatment and management of a wide range of surgical conditionsExercise advanced operative skills and strong clinical judgmentCollaborate closely with:Compensation and Benefits:Base Salary: $285000 $320000 annuallyDetermined based on experience education internal equity and market competitivenessAdditional productivity-based monetary incentivesCompensation structured in compliance with Vermont Act 155Additional Highlights:Full-time employed positionAt-will employmentEqual Employment Opportunity employerADA-compliant workplace with reasonable accommodation available(Benefits such as health insurance retirement PTO CME etc. were not specified in the posting.)Certification RequirementsBoard CertifiedBoard EligibleCPRDEAState License RequirementsVermontAdditional License RequirementsMedical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school and must be complete of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
