Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to work in a high-acuity surgical environment. The RN will primarily work in the Main Operating Room (OR) and may float to outpatient surgery as needed. This role is ideal for perioperative nurses looking to apply their expertise in a collaborative surgical team setting.

Requirements

Current California RN License
CPR Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification
Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience
CNOR certification preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic surgical environment
Day shift availability with 8- or 10-hour shift options including holiday coverage

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care in the Main OR
Float to outpatient surgery areas as needed
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (EPIC or equivalent)
Adhere to facility policies protocols and regulatory standards

Additional Information

Minimum experience: 2 years in perioperative nursing
Bilingual: Not required
