DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

May include the following:

Build and manage relationships with public and private partner organizations
Effectively engage in regular communications towards developing and implementing key objectives of the Help Me Grow systems model
Support data collection and analysis related to coalition strategic goals
Plan and facilitate coalition meetings
Serve as Learn the Signs. Act Early. Deputy Ambassador and promote in the community
Provide presentations on local and state level early childhood data and research to community stakeholders
Engage child care and child health providers in supporting and promoting coalition initiatives
Conduct family and community engagement outreach and education events
Engage parents and caregivers in development of coalition initiatives
Supervise Community Events Specialist facilitating Home Visiting Department events

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

Education: A Masters degree in Child Development Social Work or a related field
Experience: At least 4 years experience in Parent Support/Training 2 years experience in coalition and community partnership building or training and 5 years experience working with families and young children.

Required:

Education: A Bachelors degree in Child Development Early Childhood Education Social Work Health Psychology or a related field
Experience: 5 years experience working with families and young children and at least 1 year experience in coalition and community partnership building or training
Ability to work fully remote

Physical Requirements:

Be able to lift 25 30 lbs.
Be able to walk squat/kneel sit on the floor see hear and speak with children to ensure childrens health and safety.

Other Requirements:

Daily access to transportation.
Valid Texas Drivers License-Class C.
Vehicle insurance (personal injury and liability).
Must be flexible with hours.
Initial Health Exam required for all Head Start staff at the agencys expense.
Initial and annual TB screening are required for all Head Start staff at the agencys expense.
Must be at least 21 years old.
