Position Overview

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory. This role involves identifying new business opportunities managing existing accounts and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

What youll do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Address customer inquiries concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

  • Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

  • Track and report on sales performance including sales forecasts pipeline management and revenue targets.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present sales reports to management.

  • Stay up-to-date with product offerings industry developments and competitive landscape.

  • Provide product demonstrations and training to customers as needed.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the companys products and services.

What youll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field or equivalent Experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in field sales preferably in Healthcare.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Healthcare.

  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA Boston MA Morristown NJ Plano TX St. Louis MO St. Petersburg FL and Hyderabad India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture and all our employees work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership -office work and activities if applicable vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$105000.00 - $133000.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors including experience education qualifications as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package which may also include discretionary bonus plans commissions or other incentives depending on the role.
