What you will do
Acts as assistant to Chief & directs coordinates & administers overall statewide Wildlife aerial survey & surveillance activities & programs for the Division of Wildlife
Plans coordinates directs & conducts all fish wildlife & law enforcement activities that require the use of multiengine fixed wing aircraft &/or helicopter
Pilots fixed &/or rotary wing aircraft
Maintains flight records & logbooks and conducts post-maintenance flight checks
Supervises assigned staff
The Natural Resources Specialty for this position is Aviation AND at least one of the following: Fish & Wildlife Management Fish & Wildlife Research Fish & Wildlife Biology Habitat & Conservation Zoology Law Enforcement Criminal Justice Physical Sciences or Biology.
Starting hourly pay of $43.09/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service with an end salary of $ 61.56/hr.
