Job Description:

YOUR IMPACT

The ERP Delivery Manager from client serves as a critical delivery partner supporting the enterprise ERP transformation.
This role provides functional expertise quality assurance leadership and governed development support to ensure the ERP solution aligns with defined business processes and transformation objectives.
The role requires developing deep domain knowledge of the ERP platform associated business processes and implementation standards through structured training and close collaboration with the ERP system integrator internal IT leadership and business Process Owners.
Functional focus areas may include but are not limited to: order management procurement inventory management and finance and accounting.

The essential functions of this position include:

Functional and Transformation Leadership:

Act as the offshore functional lead supporting ERP transformation objectives by translating business and process requirements into clearly defined functional designs validation scenarios and quality standards.

Quality Assurance Leadership:

Provide leadership for ERP testing activities including test strategy execution test case development defect triage and regression validation ensuring solution quality across all functional domains.

Configuration and Design Validation Support:

Support the review and validation of ERP system configuration delivered by the system integrator ensuring alignment with approved business requirements functional designs and process outcomes.

Data Migration and Validation Support:

Support data migration activities by assisting with mapping validation data testing and post-migration data verification to ensure data accuracy completeness and business usability.

Integration Validation Support:

Coordinate functional and technical validation of ERP integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems ensuring end to-end process integrity.

Development Support:

Provide limited controlled development support where required (e.g. reports legacy functionality) ensuring the platform adheres to established architecture standards.

Process Enablement and Optimization Support:

Identify functional gaps process risks and optimization areas during testing and validation cycles and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders and the system integrator.

Testing Coordination and Execution:

Coordinate off-shore testing resources to support system integration testing (SIT) user acceptance testing (UAT) regression testing and release validation ensuring coverage across all impacted business processes.

Defect Management and Resolution Support:

Manage defect lifecycle activities including logging prioritization root cause analysis support retesting and closure validation in collaboration with internal teams and the system integrator.

Change and Release Readiness:

Support change and release activities by validating readiness of ERP enhancements patches and configuration changes prior to deployment ensuring alignment with approved release schedules.

Training and Knowledge Support:

Support functional training materials test scripts and knowledge documentation to enable effective adoption by business users and internal teams

Additional competencies and skills:

Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations in a functional QA and transformation support role leading an off-shore team.
Proficiency in ERP platforms (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong understanding of business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.

Role positioning:

This role is intentionally positioned stateside local to our Herndon Virginia headquarters to serve as a critical coordination and governance function between internal company business and IT stakeholders based ERP system integrator and vendor and off shore client delivery teams.
The position requires ongoing real-time engagement with stakeholders process owners and partners to ensure alignment quality and timely decision-making through the ERP transformation lifecycle

QUALIFICATION

Education:

Bachelors degree in business administration Information Technology or a related field.
Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP functional roles with a strong background in business process analysis and system configuration.

Certifications:

ERP-related certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Application Associate Oracle ERP Cloud Certification)
