Location: Tallahassee FL
Duration: Approx. 16-month contract

We are hiring for the role of IT Project Manager (Agile/Scrum). Below are the key details:

Role Overview
This role supports a large-scale financial systems modernization initiative. The Project Manager will lead Agile/Scrum-based projects coordinate cross-functional teams and drive delivery of financial reporting and system transition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Define and document project scope objectives and deliverables
Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
Develop and maintain project schedules and work plans
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups Sprint Planning Reviews Retrospectives and Backlog Grooming
Create and manage user stories and acceptance criteria
Monitor project execution and drive continuous improvement
Remove impediments and support development teams
Coordinate cross-functional and cross-agency teams
Provide project status updates to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
7 years of IT experience
4 years managing projects
Strong knowledge of SDLC Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Experience managing development teams using Sprint cycles and Kanban boards
Ability to create documentation from undocumented processes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience creating user stories and documenting requirements

Preferred Skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience with Jira ServiceNow or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of financial systems or accounting environments

Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience).
