Overview:The Business Development Manager willbe responsible foridentifyingnew business opportunities cultivating client relationships and driving revenue growth in the commercial landscaping and construction market. This individual will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
--Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to attract new clients and projects.
--Identifyand pursue leads in both public and private sectors including general contractors architects developers and property owners.
--Build manage andmaintainstrong client relationships through networking presentations and consistent follow-up.
--Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking functions.
--Collaborate with estimating and project teams to prepare compelling proposals and bids.
--Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activity and areas of opportunity.
--Track and report on business development metrics and KPIs.
--Contribute to marketing and branding efforts to increase visibility and credibility in the market.
Requirements:
--Bachelors degree in business Marketing Construction Management or related field.
--Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in the landscapeconstructionor real estate development industry.
--Strong knowledge of the Pennsylvania construction market and key stakeholders.
--Proventrack recordof meeting or exceeding sales targets.
--Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
--Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently.
--Proficiencyin CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and presentation tools.
