Compensation: In accordance with California law the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Role Summary: St. Annes Family Services is seeking an HR Systems & Audit Specialist to support the effective administration of HR systems and compliance processes across the agency. This role partners with HR leadership to ensure audit readiness regulatory alignment and strong data integrity while serving as a resource for system reporting implementation and process improvement. The Specialist collaborates cross-functionally to strengthen HR operations training tracking and standardized procedures that support organizational efficiency and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain HR systems (HRIS ATS benefits timekeeping) ensuring data accuracy system configuration access controls and alignment with HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits and contract-related compliance activities maintaining audit readiness and ensuring timely accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain compliance tracking tools dashboards internal controls and standardized documentation to support regulatory alignment and risk mitigation.
- Monitor changes in employment laws and regulatory guidance and assist with updates to HR processes systems and documentation.
- Support system implementations upgrades reporting and user training to enhance HR operational efficiency and promote effective cross-department collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated exposure to HR systems administration and compliance support
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements required (federal and California-specific strongly preferred)
- HR Certification (PHR SHRM-CP) preferred
- Experience supporting social service agency audits strongly preferred
- Experience working in a non-profit agency preferred
