Job Summary

About this role:

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for delivering insights into sales performance through data analysis enabling informed decision-making within the wider team. This role focuses on tracking key sales metrics generating forecasts and producing comprehensive reports to support the development and execution of team-wide sales strategies.

Accountabilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Distribution team regarding Sales Operations processes providing expert guidance and when necessary absorbing process components to optimize team efficiency.

Lead the mapping and documentation of Sales Operations processes developing comprehensive manuals and procedural guides to ensure consistency and clarity across the team.

Ensure the highest quality and integrity of information throughout the entire sales cyclefrom customer onboarding and data management to contract administrationenabling reliable reporting and analysis.

Analyse sales data to monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) identify trends uncover root causes of underperformance and deliver actionable recommendations to management.

Prepare optimize and innovate regular and ad-hoc reports including dashboards and visual presentations to effectively communicate sales performance to key stakeholders.

Support forecasting activities by analysing historical sales data customer behaviour and market trends to project future sales performance.

Provide detailed data analysis to inform pricing strategies product launches and promotional initiatives ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

-Developing knowledge of methodologies processes practices and common issues of the Sales Operations function.

Able to convey straightforward technical and non-technical information to audiences that generally understand the subject matter. Communication is normally within the team and with closely related teams.

Primarily focuses on providing support to the team.

Able to work under general supervision with some guidance from a competent professional or manager needed from time to time.
