Job Description

OES Equipment part of the DPR Family of Companies is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry seekinga Purchasing Specialist. This role is crucial to the success of the Procurement Team. This positionis responsible forsupporting the Purchasing Team by placing orders processingtransfersand invoices ensuring data accuracy and communicating with internal teams as well as external vendors. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Purchase orders generate transfers andprocess invoices:

  • PO generation for Mega Projects based on projectplan.

  • Create transfers for Mega Projects as needed.

  • Processinvoicesas necessary.

  • Ensure branches haveappropriate levelsof stocked product based on corresponding project plan

  • Review Inventory Valuation Report

  • Review non-stock sales for Mega Projects todetermineopportunity to adjust stocking profile at each location

  • Support and respond topurchasingrelated questions from the Mega Projects teams.

  • Email communication with vendors and/or branch team members as necessary:

  • Support requests via email and other internal communication tools.

  • Support issue resolution via email and other internal communication tools.

  • Additionalad-hocresponsibilitiesas necessary.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and well organized.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

  • Positive interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude.

Education and Experience

  • Construction supply and equipment industry knowledge.

  • Experience withRentalMan.

  • Experience with Coupa.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds if needed.
