Job Summary
About the Role
Soul Search Records is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Document & Content Formatter to support our music releases artist communications promotional materials internal reports and partnership proposals. This role ensures our documents press kits artist contracts reports and marketing materials are professional consistent and aligned with our brand identity.
No prior industry experience in music is required training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Format press releases artist bios contracts promotional decks reports and digital content.
- Create and revise templates forms tables charts diagrams and branded documents.
- Generate tables of contents figure lists headers/footers references and hyperlinks.
- Ensure documents meet formatting standards in Microsoft Word PDF and PowerPoint.
- Assist teams in preparing materials for public release media distribution and internal communication.
- Create visual graphics such as organizational charts and process flow diagrams.
- Maintain consistency with company style guidelines.
- Provide clear feedback to team members regarding formatting improvements.
- Support the creation of custom Word elements (QuickParts building blocks macros style sets).
- Maintain professional and respectful communication at all times.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Inclusive & Flexible)
We welcome applicants with:
- No formal education required up to High School Diploma or higher.
- Equivalent life experience freelance work internships creative projects or self-taught skills are accepted.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Willingness to complete company training.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience using Microsoft Office or Adobe tools.
- Background in administration publishing marketing media or design.
- Strong attention to detail.
