The retail channel of MFL contributes 45% of its revenue and is growing at a very fast pace through a widely distributed network of stores and aggressive expansion in newer markets. The operating business models and retail formats are varied. Therefore consistency in customer experience across formats and models is indeed a challenge especially when the consumer expectations are changing rapidly with the advent of international brands.
It is necessary therefore to have a durable and sustainable strategy for retail through attracting and retaining talent training and development strong employee engagement implementing retail initiatives right organization to deliver and manage the system and overall deliver on the MFL objective of retail excellence
