Job Summary
Job Title: Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant
Location: Willmar MN 56201
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Pay Rate: Up to $24 per hour
Schedule
Monday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 6:00 AM 12:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Thursday: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM
Friday: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient front and back office workflow. This role requires strong organizational skills professionalism and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Obtain and accurately document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture (required)
Administer vaccines as directed
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Provide additional clinical support as needed
Administrative Duties
Greet patients and manage front desk operations
Schedule appointments and handle incoming calls
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
Coordinate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Assist with general office and workflow support
Qualifications
23 years of Medical Assistant experience required
Minimum 1 year of experience beyond externship
Medical Assistant Certification (strongly preferred)
Occupational Health experience (strongly preferred)
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience (required)
EMR experience (required)
BLS or CPR certification (required)
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
