Job Summary (List Format) for Vallen Integrated Supply Site Manager
- Manage daily operations of Vallens Integrated Supply program at a customer site.
- Supervise a team of 7 Storeroom Attendants providing leadership and staff management.
- Collaborate closely with the onsite Buyer; responsible for sourcing quoting and processing orders.
- Ensure positive and profitable customer relationships to support Vallens financial goals.
- Utilize strong customer service skills to address client needs and maintain satisfaction.
- Apply MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) material experience (preferred).
- Use MS Excel and Word daily for reporting and data management.
- Maintain a shared office space with the onsite Buyer.
- Operate or be willing to learn forklift operation (training provided).
- Work primarily 1st shift with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed.
- Follow site safety requirements including wearing leather steel toe shoes.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen including experience with profit and loss statements.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships identifying areas where Vallen solutions can provide cost savings.
- Possess a Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in supply chain business or related field.
- Bring at least 8 years of relevant experience and 5 years of staff management experience.
- Exhibit proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn company-specific software.
