Job Summary

Metro Housing is a small community-focused housing provider committed to supporting safe secure and affordable housing for our tenants. The team are needing a friendly and reliable Temporary Receptionist to provide front desk cover for a 6-week period in March - April.

About the Role

As the first point of contact you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for tenants visitors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk reception and incoming calls
  • Greet tenants visitors and contractors in a professional manner
  • Handle general enquiries and direct requests appropriately
  • Provide basic administrative support (filing scanning data entry)
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
About You
  • Previous reception or administrative experience preferred
  • Friendly professional and approachable manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable organised and able to manage busy periods
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Experience in community housing property or not-for-profit sector (desirable but not essential)
