IT Governance Manager
Role Summary
The IT Governance Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the IT governance model across group companies ensuring that all IT-related activities align with corporate strategy regulatory requirements and operational objectives.
The role is accountable for the definition enforcement and group-wide implementation control of IT policies procedures and IT risk management ensuring that IT operations are well-governed secure and aligned with business needs.
A key responsibility includes the consolidation control tracking and reporting of the group-wide IT budget (covering 10 companies and exceeding 10 Billion TL) ensuring financial transparency and effective planning.
Additionally the IT Governance Manager leads strategic vendor management ensuring that over 100 IT suppliers deliver in accordance with contractual obligations performance standards and business priorities.
The role is also responsible for the governance of major IT programs and projects monitoring IT governance maturity and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements. It acts as a central coordination point for IT governance-related mattersdriving standardization ensuring compliance and enabling leadership to make informed accountable decisions across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and continuously enhance IT governance frameworks policies standards and procedures across all group companies.
- Lead and facilitate IT governance committees working groups and steering meetings to drive accountability and strategic alignment.
- Plan and conduct regular IT governance assessments and reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor IT compliance metrics assess governance maturity identify areas for improvement and report to executive management.
- Identify governance risks gaps and opportunities for improvement and propose actionable mitigation plans.
- Provide expert guidance on IT governance methodologies industry best practices and emerging tools.
- Manage cross-company IT governance projects and initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of IT governance training awareness programs and change management initiatives.
- Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders (CIOs IT Directors Finance Risk Audit) and external partners (vendors consultants).
- Design and implement IT financial governance processes including budgeting forecasting expenditure monitoring and benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive AG IT vendor repository; manage strategic vendor performance and procurement processes to drive economies of scale.
- Develop AG IT standards policies and operational procedures and ensure their consistent adoption across the group.
- Establish and monitor IT KPIs aligned with business goals ensuring data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
- Develop IT communication strategies to support awareness education and successful change initiatives.
- Guide organizational IT competency development by mapping required skills overseeing training programs and supporting workforce evolution.
- Proactively identify IT risks across companies ensuring that appropriate risk management mitigation and compliance programs are implemented.

- Extensive experience managing large-scale IT budgets and complex vendor ecosystems.
- Certifications such as COBIT ITIL CGEIT CISA PMP are highly preferred.
- Fluent in Turkish and English.
